The architectonic concept is purposely based on a simple effective concept to highlight the character of the administrative building and the seriousness of the building’s owner. The concept keeps the basic two masses of the two tracts of the object, it differs them by the means of colors and simplifies the shape of their upper part. The fillings of the openings in the outside cladding are designed with a simpler modern devision and a variability in the installation of the windows. A new significant element is a set of five new dominant prominent balconies made by ‘a basket’ out of steel construction that serve for relaxation. Public commercial spaces are defined both by the used material and its graphics where the main entrance is purposely moved behind the facade itself. Behind the entrance with can find a hall with a reception and a nice seating area, a new lift with a hallway leading to a lower parts of the building. On the level of the openings’ lintel in this section, there is designed a continuous narrow glassed roof that equipped with graphical stickers which illuminated during the night time would rewrite the graphics on the facade of the building. The object of České dráhy, a.s. became a prestigious headquarters of this modern and growing czech company.
