In the context of the project a reconstruction of former changing rooms took place. This set of containers were transformed into investor’s administrative object. The inspiration for the design came from the field of investor’s business. After the reconstruction the object really suggests a vehicle. The cladding of the object is done in composite panels with mirror-chrome finish. The facade of the object reflects its surroundings. Object stayed one-storey, however it was enlarged by mounting and calibrating of a new steel construction. In the context of improvement of its technical parameters, the saddle roof is insulated and is cladded in the same fashion as the exterior walls. On the object’s perimeter, there are irregularly placed round windows when some of them are convex. The interior combines the old and the new. For example a walled transom was added together with wooden ceiling construction that is in the new enlarged part covered by a construction and the only thing that is visible are steel pillars that support the enlargement. The headquarters of Pospiech company is another piece of modern architecture that is lately formed in Ostrava and also an unusual example of solving ‘the traditional architectonic genre’ – administrative building. This project obtained honorable mention in Gran Prix of architects.
